PageRank is the algorithm that Google unveiled which has reconfigured the way we search the web. Recently Google hopes that this PageRank algorithm can be used to serach images online. Typically search engines search images based on the text around the image. PageRank for image search, which had been given the title of "VisualRank" is working to understand what is actual in a picture. This is expensive and time consuming. PageRank is computing a numerical weight assigned to each image. This will help users of Google image search to find relevant images to what they are looking for based on the actual image itself.
